Yuezhang is a PhD Candidate at Tsinghua University.

He worked as a Visiting Student Research Collaborator (VSRC) in ZERO lab from 2024-2025. Yuezhang’s research focuses on paradigm shifts in industrial production and the modeling of complex industrial systems, with a particular emphasis on China’s energy sector. He develops optimization models for the decarbonization of industrial sectors, providing insights into the planning and operations of flexible facilities, the spatiotemporal evolution of heavy industries, and the benefits of sector coupling. He obtained his bachelor degree in Energy and Power Engineering and a dual degree in Business Data Analysis from Tsinghua University in 2021.
