Oladoyin Phillips

Her research focuses on understanding how the political economy of sub-Saharan countries, particularly fossil fuel exporters like Nigeria, can enhance the formulation of their energy transition and development pathways. The goal is to apply these insights when using Macro-Energy System models to plan for the expansion of Net-Zero electricity systems. Oladoyin has written publications for the African Development Bank as a Consultant in the Energy Financial Solutions, Policy & Regulation Complex. She earned her Meng in Operations Research and Information Engineering from Cornell University in 2019, and B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University in 2014. She has worked in Nigeria, India, and the UK, on logistics, data engineering, and SME advisory solutions.
