David Cole
Postdoctoral Research Associate
David Cole is a postdoctoral researcher working on advancing decomposition approaches for large-scale energy and infrastructure optimization problems.
David’s research focuses on developing new methods and software for solving large-scale power system problems by leveraging decomposition algorithms and graph-theoretic modeling tools. David holds a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in chemical engineering from Brigham Young University. He has previously worked as an intern at the Idaho National Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
